Weekend Fun

Jaren has been working long hours this month. Sometimes he works 15 hour days. Patients are trying to get their surgeries done and use up their insurance benefits before the end of the year. This results in lots of surgeries and long hours for Jaren. This weekend Jaren didn't have to work long hours, and we were able to spend time together!

On Friday my family had planned to go to the Lion House for dinner and walk around Temple Square to see the Christmas lights. When we all met up to drive to Salt Lake, everyone was feeling hungry and tired! We decided we would go eat at Union Grill and then see the Ogden Christmas Village lights instead. Well, after dinner we were all feeling even more tired, so we drove around the Ogden lights instead of walking! Honestly, we had a lot of fun and it was perfect for us to relax, enjoy our time together, and not do too much!

On Saturday Jaren and I had a fun date! We went to see the new Star Wars movie at Farmington Station and then ate at Twigs restaurant afterwards (one of our favorite places to eat). We have been looking forward to this movie for a long time and we LOVED it! (The movie had lots of fun throwbacks to the original Star Wars movies! The cast, acting, and story were also GREAT!) We enjoyed walking around Farmington Station after the movie at night. There are lots of Christmas decorations, lights, and even an ice skating rink there this time of year. I loved going on a date with Jaren!

On Sunday we visited my Grandma Wood. Every time I see her she asks about Gus. She loves Gus. My grandma once had a dog (a poodle) for 17 years named Suzie (17 years is a very long life for a dog). She loved Suzie and always talks about her when we brig Gus over. She is so sweet to Gus and loves to pet him.
